Waah Dean on Taking on DMX’s Beef, DMX Rapping with his Jaw Wired



Ruff Ryders founder Waah Dean here continues telling the story of the label and the many artists he worked with during its development–DMX, the Lox, Swizz Beatz, Irv Gotti, and more. Waah Dean speaks about DMX’s troubled past but notes that DMX at his core is a good man: “He tries to do the right thing, but gets caught up in doing wrong,” Dean says.     X was one of a kind. First time I ever heard him was on "Take Whats Yours" when that dropped. And I was like: "whoever this dude is, he's INCREDIBLE." Then Dark Is Hell came out and crushed the buildings.
