Props to 2Pac, but he wasn't the greatest rapper of all time. Tupac was very very good, and on top of that he had charisma. Tupac was a superstar and he had substance, powerful mix.
He worked quickly and produced great songs and that is the difference between him and these modern rappers. These youngsters produce a lot of music that sounds like shit and they all sound alike. Tupac wrote and recorded quickly and produced conscious deep songs which alone proves that was he recorded was a part of him. You cant write and record an 'until the end of time' in 20 minutes unless you have those lyrics within you.
