Armed with an unlimited array of fresh flows, Peewee Longway is Atlanta’s most consistently inventive emcee. Ready to showcase his deep musicality and tumbling wordplay, Peewee announces The Blue M&M 4, his upcoming mixtape. Continuing a series that started in 2014 and had its most recent installment in 2017, The Blue M&M 4 is a carnival of off-kilter trap music, collecting some of the South’s biggest rappers and Atlanta’s most vital sound architects to populate Peewee’s world of money, weed, and codeine. Peewee’s first project since last November’s State Of The Art, The Blue M&M 4 releases on August 23rd via MPA Bandcamp/EMPIRE.

Says Peewee about The Blue M&M 4 and the Blue M&M series of mixtapes: “You got to keep the series going. It ain’t going to stop. The M&M series going to keep going and going and going. The M’s stand for the millions and millions and millions. We gonna keep going and keep getting it. The series don’t stop. I’m trying to get The Blue M&M 100 if we can. I try to do my best on each one so I know for sure that this one is better than the last one. I mixed it up with both sides. I gave a shout out to the women and the men. So just doing it the long way.”

Today, Peewee touts his preference for high-end items on “Fiji Water,” the distinctly drawly lead single from the project. Defined by intoxicating keys from producer Swagdot, “Fiji Water” is a seductive speaker-knocker, meant for blasting out open windows of low-riders. Switching his flow from sing-song to triplets and back, Peewee exalts in his boss status through his signature grin: “Runnin’ through them bands like I’m Usain Bolt/Gold mouth shawty…yeah I’m still selling dope.” “Fiji Water” follows the tropical video for “Craigslist,” a State Of The Art single, which released last month, and this June’s Lolife Longway EP, a 6-song collaboration with MPA Bandcamp producer/rapper LoLife Blacc.

Explains Peewee: “I was thinking about that Fiji Water, Aquafina flow, giving the women a shout out for all that Fiji Water they be having. I owe it to the women because I always rap about trap so much. My girl, she’s always there and this song is about her. I just want to give all the women a big shout out.”
