ABOUT:
Since I’ve been solo & netting my first investor, I’ve been recording like you wouldn’t believe it. Currently I’ve stacked up over 10 EP’s worth of material, a studio album and a whole bunch of collabs on other peoples projects.
Thanks to H3rmano, who I did my 2nd EP with, who recommended me to Philipp Strecker as it allowed for ‘Boxing Day’ to be made possible. This is my first collaboration with Philipp Strecker, who is also a producer from Germany and hopefully not the last collab that we do.
The story behind this one … H3rmano sent me another beat for me to consider collabing on … then he refers me to Philipp Strecker, who gives me the beat that would become ‘Boxing Day’. I loved them both but which one of the two beats do I write to first?
Let it be known that it was H3rmano’s beat, a song that I would call ‘Mic Check’, that I wrote to first … HOWEVER, barely an hour would pass before I was back in ‘pen to pad’ mode to write the lyrics that would become this song … ‘BOXING DAY’.
The rest is history!!! … & it was MASTERED in ITALY at a place called … Wait for it … *** KNOB STUDIO *** … I couldn’t make it up even if I wanted to.
