In honor of Stones Throw Records’ 20th anniversary, founder/producer Peanut Butter Wolf has shared a 26-track mixtape featuring unreleased material from Homeboy Sandman and Edan, Madlib and Quasimoto, and Chrome Canyon. Other artists from the label, including Dam-Funk, Egyptian Lover and the late J Dilla, are scattered throughout. This afternoon (November 5), nearly every Stones Throw artist ever signed to the imprint will descend on Los Angeles for a free festival as part of Red Bull Sound Select’s 30 Days series, which includes a special set from Common, so the timing couldn’t be better.
