Redman spoke exclusively to VladTV about his song “Got My Mind Made Up” appearing on 2Pac’s All Eyez on Me, which he admits wasn’t the original plan. Redman went on to explain that he and Method Man originally recorded the song with Daz Dillinger and Kurupt, but 2Pac demanded to have all of the “hot” material for his album and he took the Redman feature for himself.

Pac was so talented, i believe he was changing lyrically, with his flow, subject matter, and content in the Makaveli album. Pac was exhibiting dominance over all rappers.. He had a direct connection to what his audience and the streets wanted to hear him say. You have to be really mentally and spiritually strong to hold that burden. He knew it had to be said.. you sense the desperation and anxiousness in his voice..
He never got to explore his talent because his subjects were about his pain. And no one wants hear a whole album on how painful life is. so you get some drama, party, and emotion in each album.. we won't get another Tupac. I swear we won't. and all those songs you're like damn I heard all of them tho.. there's always something new you can learn from. Don't ever stop listening to Pac.
