Mista Cain on Leaving Baton Rouge, Nonsensical Hate in the City

Baton Rouge rapper Mista Cain spoke openly with VladTV about getting his rap career started again after some legal trouble. During the conversation, Mista Cain also addressed the hate brewing in Baton Rouge in the hip-hop world, which Boosie touched on during his own interview with VladTV last year.

Mista Cain made it clear that he enjoys competition in rap but thinks it should just be focused on the music, not other aspects like jewelry, money, cars, and girls. To hear more of what he had to say, hit the above clip.

I had to pause this vid just to make this comment. We somehow have to move past this. We need to elevate our minds whether its through school or by other means. No offence but you couldnt come off more unintelligent. I swear they be looking for the dumbest niggas in the hood to sign and put on because they know they got a victim. Tired of seeing my people in this light. How are you supposed to do real business talking like that. I cant take you serious.

I grew up 30 minutes outside of Baton Rouge and New Orleans. People need to understand these are very small cities. A very country enviroment. Niggas are not use to success of any kind unless drug dealing or some mobbin type shit. So when a certain individual gets exposure they are targeted above mention. Talent is plentiful but when a person cant use it correctly its pretty much useless.
