MC Eiht on Chicago Rappers Dissing Dead Homies: That’s Bangin’ on Wax

MC Eiht explained why he stayed out of the East Coast/West Coast beef in the mid-’90s, as he revealed that he had a lot of love for East Coast rappers and felt like it was more of a Bad Boy vs. Death Row beef.

During the conversation, MC Eiht spoke about how rappers never leaving their street personas behind, despite seeing some success in the music industry. He explained that it was due in part to their time spent in the streets and always feeling the need to protect their pride if they were dissed on a record.

Why do people keep saying that the "beef" killed Pac and BIG? Unless they were both killed by people from the opposing coast then that's some bullshit.

Rodney O & Joe Cooley was saying fuck New York back in 1993 before the whole East Cost VS West Cost thang.

In the 90's MC Eiht was the dude that you all think Tupac was…he was the cat all of the gangster and real niggas listened to and respected not Pac…Comptons Most Wanted was what REAL NIGGAS LISTENED TO……Not Tupac…Tupac was what losers, hoodrats, and emotional knuckleheads listened to. Tupac is only impressive to niggas who DID NOT live the 90's! Comptons Most Wanted made CLASSICS!
