Most people know Freeway Ricky for his past involvement in the drug game, but some may not know about his connection to the music world, which he spoke about during a recent VladTV interview. Ricky revealed that he signed J-Ro of The Alkaholiks and was about to sign the group when he was in jail and got the unlucky draw of being thrown in solitary for 30-days. When he came out, the group had already signed to Loud Records.
During the conversation, Freeway Ricky spoke about almost being a part owner in Death Row, which sparked a discussion about Suge Knight’s current situation in jail. You can hear more of what Freeway Ricky had to say above.

You gotta interview Ghetts at some point, Vlad. Your interviews with the grime scene rappers are some of the best, hands down. No fake shit, just 100% honest dudes who are about their craft rather than their Hollywood personas.
