One-half of the Infamous Mobb Deep, Prodigy sat down with VladTV for an exclusive interview discussing the impact and legacy that Mobb Deep had on the culture. Legendary in his own right, Prodigy discussed helping to usher in a new style of music; a hardcore style of rap focused on the darker elements of the culture with crews such as Wu-Tang Clan and Mobb Deep itself.
We here at VladTV heard the tragic and abrupt news that Prodigy passed away earlier today due to complications from sickle cell anemia. We would like to offer our deepest condolences to Prodigy’s loved ones and to the hip-hop community as a whole. We all suffered a terrible loss far too early.
