Detroit can thank Trick Trick for that. Who wants to do business with niggas that talk about a no fly zone? With a history of chasing rappers out of the city.

Detroit has always had a lame way about them. their street credibility doesn't override their lack of swag.

Detroit is blackballed because of fools like Trick Trick who make it hard for artists to get recognition. When you got a Suge Knight figure around every artist in your city how you expect record executives to come around? Rappers won't even go to Detroit on tours let alone artists coming out of Detroit in the first place.

Detroit was never blackballed : D12, Eminem, Obie Trice, Big Sean. etc. Y'all not blackballed, y'all just not the topic of the talk anymore.

I'm reading these comments and everybody keep saying Detroit is trash and nobody from the city ever had a hit fr…But we talkin' 'bout MOTORCITY, home of Motown records ??!! Back in the 60's niggas only came here to our city for 1 or 2 reason, to get famous or to get a plant job!

I'm from Detroit. Guys like Trick Trick want to institute a no fly zone and tell other rappers coming out of town how to do things. You do stuff like that people aren't looking to work with you then.
