03 Greedo, aka The Wolf Of Grape Street, transports us to Southern California in his latest single, “Trap House,” from the forthcoming Still Summer In The Projects. Over a warm, bouncy Mustard beat, Greedo’s mastery of melody shines through with an undeniably catchy hook. It feels like the audible depiction of a tangerine-tinged sunset on a balmy July night in Watts, Los Angeles. As the song ends Greedo asserts his loyalty to his home, crooning in auto-tune, “Grape Street Watts, I’mma thoroughbred.”
